چکیده

In this paper, we describe a pilot study of the clinical use of a wireless network of personal digital assistants (PDAs). We describe how we are dealing with the concerns of the clinicians with respect to maintaining the security of patient records and the potential interference which wireless devices might cause critical medical systems. Beyond these technologydriven issues we also describe a framework based on activity theory which we will use to guide the evaluation of the PDAs.
